Rebecca is our new Prevention and Evaluation Intern. Rebecca was born and raised in Durham, NC. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Dance from Appalachian State University. She first discovered her passion for primary prevention and working towards ending sexual violence through her work on the Red Flag Campaign Planning Committee on the Appalachian State campus. Rebecca is now pursuing her Masters of Social Work and Certificate of Non-Profit Leadership from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She will be graduating in May 2016. In addition to dismantling systems of oppression, Rebecca enjoys many types of artistic expression, baking, and hiking.
