Preventing the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Adolescent Girls:
A Training for Facilitators on Using The My Life My Choice Curriculum

Tuesday September 25th & Wednesday September 26th

The My Life My Choice Curriculum is a survivor-led, ten session girl-centered program created to develop and strengthen your efforts to halt the disturbing wave of commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking in the United States.  Created in 2002, the My Life My Choice Curriculum is used in schools, group homes, juvenile justice facilities, and community-based agencies.  We have trained facilitators in more than 30 states and Canada.

In this two-day training, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Understand the research base behind The My Life My Choice Curriculum
  • Learn how to use the curriculum to run psycho-educational groups with vulnerable girls in a variety of settings
  • Explore potential challenges that may arise during the group
  • Receive a copy of the My Life My Choice Curriculum membership to the My Life My Choice Online Community, a forum to provide resources and support to prevention group facilitators.
