Our new beautiful kennel for our four legged clients is finished! Thanks to the Spruce Pine Rotary Club, the youth group from the Spruce Pine Presbyterian Church and all of the generous donors and volunteers who made this dream come true! We now have a clean, comfortable and safe place for the beloved pets who accompany their owners on their path to peace and safety.
We know that many do not leave an abusive, often dangerous, relationship because they do not want to leave their pets behind. We are fortunate to be one of only a handful of shelters in North Carolina that can offer safety to survivors’ pets.
