Sexual Assault Awareness Month 2016: Prevention is Possible!

This year, NC is joining our national partners during Sexual Assault Awareness Month to say that “Prevention is Possible!” Check back here throughout the month to see more information about SAAM, including our SAAM Photo Contest and local events throughout the state.

Together, we can prevent and end sexual violence. We hope you’ll join us in sharing this message this SAAM!

NCCASA SAAM Photo Contest

NCCASA is hosting a SAAM photo contest, and three participating agencies will win a free computer with a printer!

How to Enter:

Send pictures of your local SAAM events and/or of agency staff, volunteers, or community members with a caption telling us how you are saying “Prevention is Possible” this SAAM!

Your agency can submit as many photos as you would like throughout the month by emailing them with captions and your agency name to Megan Clarke, Director of Statewide Capacity, at megan@nccasa.org. Each photo/caption received will count as a separate entry for the drawing.

We will share your photos on twitter and facebook throughout the month to show how NC is bringing awareness to sexual violence and prevention! Although we are happy to receive and share photos from individuals, only NC rape crisis centers and other NC non-profit member organizations are eligible to win.

Drawing Details:

The drawing will be held on April 28th and will be announced on this page and in the Staying Current NCCASA member mailing.

Local SAAM Events in North Carolina

Hosting a local SAAM event? Send details about the event to Megan at megan@nccasa.org, and we’ll share announcements here and on social media!
