Register now for “Strengthening Military-Civilian Community Partnerships to Respond to Sexual Assault” in Salemburg (Sampson County) on July 19!

“Strengthening Military-Civilian Community Partnerships to Respond to Sexual Assault” is an interactive training that helps participants establish partnerships with local military installations in order to effectively respond to the needs of sexual assault victims in the military. Throughout this training, participants will build knowledge about military systems, protocols, and culture to improve service provision to military sexual assault victims and to develop an appreciation of the perspectives of their future collaborative partners.

It is being coordinated by OVC (Office for Victims of Crime) through OVC TTAC (Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center) and in collaboration with DoD SAPRO (United States Department of Defense Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office), the North Carolina National Guard and NCCASA.
