Women’s Advocacy Day is March 14th!

Mar 8, 2017

You went marching…now what? Keep the momentum going by attending Women’s Advocacy Day on March 14th at 9am in Raleigh! Whether it is your first time speaking with your legislators or your hundredth time, North Carolina Women United welcomes you. In the morning, they will educate you on a variety of issues from food insecurity to reproductive rights, then they will teach you how to speak with your legislators, and finally they will send you off in groups to speak with your legislators (NCWU will schedule the appointments for you). Anti sexual violence should always be on the agenda. NCWU provides you, a North Carolinian, with the opportunity to speak with your legislators about the issues that matter to you! Come on out…your voice matters! Register HERE, and find the event on Facebook. If you have any questions, you can email [email protected]. Also, NCWU will be hosting a Women’s Advocacy Day reception at Cantina 18 on March 13th from 5:30-7:30 pm.
